Prayer, Worship, & Repentance for a Consecrated Season during the Days of Awe

Prayer Fuel

Equality

Galatians 3:28 ESV “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

John 13:34 HCSB “I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you must also love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

ADORATION:

Jehovah Shalom, God Our Peace, You freely give Your love to us even while we were Your enemies. Praise You for Your lavish generosity and kindness! You are Unity in Diversity, One God in Three Persons; help us enter into that oneness for Your glory.

REPENTANCE:

Forgive us for sowing division and strife among brothers, for not submitting ourselves to one another in You. Forgive us for not humbling ourselves to be servants of all as You called us to do. Forgive us looking down on others different than us.  [Eph. 5:21, Phil. 2:3-4, 1 Pet. 5:5]

WORSHIP: Every Tongue, Every Tribe by Joshua Aaron: https://youtu.be/jpoBc-f4RIc?si=_nrifJUjWqzrlPLp

CRY FOR THE HARVEST: Khartoum, Sudan

SCRIPTURE: “From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.” Acts 17:26

110 CITIES REGION: EASTERN & SOUTHERN AFRICA

WHOLE REGION 637 MILLION POPULATION; 388 UNREACHED PEOPLES; 196 FRONTIER PEOPLE GROUPS

  1. Pray for believers enduring persecution and wars taking place in Sudan and across the Sahel.
  2. Pray for God for radical Muslims to have encounters with Jesus that turn them to seek Him and His Kingdom.

OTHER CITIES IN THIS REGION: Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania; Djibouti, Djibouti; Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; Mombasa, Kenya; Mogadishu, Somalia.

ESTHER MOMENT:

Revelation 7:9-10 “After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: ‘Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.'”

God calls us to support one another in our Christian walk, recognizing that we are all equal in the eyes of God and have a responsibility to care for one another’s needs. One day every tongue, tribe and nation will worship God as one.

  • Initiate a conversation with someone from a different culture or ethnic background, share the love of Jesus and pray for whatever needs they may have.
  • Research what other people groups live nearby and pray for those that do not yet know Jesus. Prayer walk a place in your city where these people groups live.

Praying as a group?

Leading others in prayer is a great step in making disciples. We want to celebrate your and their faithfulness. For each person that prays with you, we will add 15 minutes to the 1.2 days of prayer committed so far.
